My Aladdin's lamp shaped teapot in a commercial! How fun is that???

Okay...how come the photo is so small??? Because I was dumb and deleted the photos off the website when it sold and forgot to save one...had to get this from Google cache...my own photo!!! How dumb is that!

Anyway, my little teapot was sold yesterday from Antiques And Teacups and FedEx-ed Next Day to a photo shoot in Florida. The teapot...though possibly after a slight tweak of pink paint they told me, will be in a TV commercial. So...when you next see a commercial with a little Aladdin's lamp shaped teapot in someone's hands...it's probably this one. This little earthenware pot was made in the 1940s in the USA. Pretty fun! Just had to share that!

Raining here...perfect for a cup of tea and shortbread. My DH is watching Aston Villa and Bolton on Foxsoccer with the cat on his lap, so all is well here in Sequim. Have a great day!

  1. Hi! You have a lovely blog. I saw your comment about the tea cozie. I always say I use the goggle images when I do and that is strange your lovely cozie ended up on google. Did you sell them? I need to get around here and get to know you. I can only think someone borrowed it from you so I will certainly go back and mention this on my blog. You have an exciting blog with lots of great tea treasures here. I think it was meant to be that I come over and meet you and I hope you come back soon. Have a terrific Sunday! I like the Royal Wedding teacup. I was thinking of buying the Kate bride doll from Bradford. I regret not buying the Diana doll back in the 1980s. Anne
