Tea Cup Tuesday, Tea Pot & Tea Things Tuesday, Tea Time Tuesday and Royal Albert & Royal Patrician

It’s Tuesday…time for tea and I am joining:
Teacup Tuesday with Martha & Terri at
Tea Pot and Tea Things Tuesday with Wanda Lee and Pam at
Silken Purse and the Plumed Pen
Tea Time Tuesday with Rose Chintz Cottage

Today I want to share...several things that I love!

This is such a lovely teacup pattern...lush roses and sponged gold. Royal Albert at it's prettiest, I think, and was made in the 1950s in the Countess shape. Lovely.

I thought that this teapot went well with the teacup. The pattern name is Guinivere and was made by Royal Patrician in 2002. The pattern was discontinued in 2004 and the factory closed in 2009. I love the pretty shape and soft, dreamy floral bouquet.

And because it's still early spring, here are a pair of candleholders to go with this theme. The candle holders are all hand made bone china flowers.

The candle holders are a variation of what is called Staffordshire Posies and were made by Radnor in Stoke-on-Trent in the 1940s. I still can't believe they have no chips...the Staffordshire posies are so fragile!

I hope you visit all of the teacup and tea thing blog parties. I always look forward to seeing all the beautiful items that make taking tea such a special time. Thanks for visiting!

  1. Hi: I just love the wonderful tea pot you shared today. It is stunning. I went to see if I could buy one on Ebay, but it was a bit to expensive for me. I will have to keep it on my wish list. Thank you for sharing this lovely beauty with us. Blessings, Martha
