Pink Saturday, Pink Ornament and Nativity With a visit From Snowmen, Antique Christmas Postcard

And a very Happy Pink Saturday with How Sweet The Sound and a most happy Christmas Eve!

First...my pink!

This is a West German mouth blown and hand decorated Christmas ornament from the 1960s.

This is a pink Nativity scene from Cintli at Pike's Place Market in Seattle

This is another charming pink Nativity that I found on Google photos.

This is another of my snowman collection made for me by a girlfriend several years ago. I just LOVE him!

And so he doesn't get lonely, a Debbie Mumm snowman mug from a few years ago. I think he is charming...and he holds a great amount of hot chocolate!

And lastly, my antique Christmas postcard for today. As I live at the coast, I like the sailing ship vignette.

This is embossed postcard was postmarked Dec. 24, 1913 from Winter Harbor, Maine to Dryden, Maine and has the English greeting A Happy Christmas To You and the poem:
May friendly winds
the sails
fill fair and free,
To speed Good Fortunes
Argosy to Thee

Have a wonderful day visiting the Pink Saturday blogs and a special Christmas Eve. We are out to dinner at a local restaurant and then the annual candle light Christmas Eve service at our church. We just love that special time together celebrating the Lord's birth.

And to all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

  2. Blessings, Ruth! Happy Pink Saturday - and Merry Christmas weekend! What a sweet whimsical pink Nativity - never saw one like that. I do my snowmen in January through to March when the bunnies come out to play! So enjoy your informative posts - you have taught me so much this year! And, yes - I can't wait to share my news about what's new in Pageant Wagon Land at The Writer's Reverie in 2012! Have a blessed holiday!
