Mr. & Mrs. Eggcup Come Calling....

I have some company today...Mr. & Mrs. Eggcup have come for a visit...

I absolutely love this 1960s English set of egg cups with heads that are really salt and pepper shakers....

Aren't they too cute??! Especially if you like company at the breakast tble. I found them in Cornwall, England a few years ago, and they had to come home with me!  For more info on the figural eggcups at Antiques And Teacups, click on the photos.

Changing gears from vintage goodies, I had to share this graphic a friend sent me...a Brit...who thought I'd like it...and I do! LOL!   She got it from Facebook somewhere apparently, but couldn't remember where....

And I wanted to let you know that we have both the balcony kiss Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine boxed mugs and Prince George birth mugs, both in English bone china at Antiques And Teacups. They make great gifts, and are lovely mugs. You can click on the photos for more info or on the right hand sidebar of the blog as well.  We have tea towels as well!

And I hope you are all able to enjoy being out in the fall weather...we are back to warmth and sun after a few storms blew through. The leaves are starting to turn, and a few fall, so it was time to get out my maple leaf cookies for tea....

and a cup of my Murchie's Afternoon Blend tea from Victoria, BC...a favorite blend.....

So sit a spell, have a cup of tea and enjoy the fleeting fall glory before it blows away and is gone until next year....
