Fruit Of The Spirit Autumn Decor and Tuesday Cuppa Tea Delay

I just thought I'd post this today, because Tuesday Cuppa Tea will be delayed for a day. We have had lots of power outages these past few days because of the first major storm of the fall...truly a Pineapple Express with an "atmospheric river" of moisture string of 3 storms with lots of downed trees and power lines has just moved out.
So whoopee the power is back on, but I didn't get to do a tea for Tuesday Cuppa Tea. I can't post from Blogger on my iPad or phone, too old I guess, they don't scroll. So...hope to have a post up on Tuesday.
But for today...

It's finally a glorious fall afternoon,  so I had to sit in the dappled sun coming in through the lace curtains in the dining room and remember God's grace, which is indeed essential to me.
The so called Fruit Of The Spirit from Galations 5:22 so sums up His dealing with us. This is a focal part of our fall decoration...a cross stitch with the Fruit Of The Spirit and fruitful harvest patchwork.

And the fruit of the spirit are:
Love
Peace
Joy
Patience (Long Suffering)
Kindness (Gentleness)
Goodness
Faithfulness
Self Control (Meekness)

And I do hope, with Peter in 2 Peter 1:8, that I have these qualities in greater measure daily in my life so I am neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of Jesus Christ.

  3. Oh Ruth, that is my most favorite verse ever!! I need to make something with that verse on it, like you have. Thank you for sharing. Those are qualities that I hope to always have, too.
