Tuesday Cuppa Tea, Irish Blessing mugs, Belleek Shamrock Cream And Sugar

Hello and welcome to Tuesday Cuppa Tea! I'm in an Irish mood today, so....

I am sharing 2 Irish blessing mugs another blogger's post reminded me I have. They are unmarked, ceramic and date to the 1980s. They have embossed Celtic decoration and look perfect for Irish coffee, or Barry's Irish Breakfast Tea!  This Irish blessing says:

May The Soft Breeze Freshen Your Spirit

This one is a companion and the Irish blessing is:

May The Rain Fall Lightly On Your Roof

And to go with it, a Belleek cream and a Belleek sugar basin, both with green shamrocks, but with different shapes.

So bake some Irish Soda bread...I'm going to...and have a cup of Barry's Irish Breakfast Tea, fill the sugar basin with Demarara sugar cubes and have a cup while the corned beef and cabbage simmer in the pot! Perfect!

For info on any of the items above at Antiques And Teacups, click on the photos.

Below are the links to the other tea related blog parties and the linky for Tuesday Cuppa Tea!  I raise my cuppa to you...and my husband raises his glass of Guinness!

  2. Hi Ruth
I adore your Belleek, so many times I've picked a piece up to buy and then had to justify the price. I'll settle with grandmother's shamrock teacups.
I plan to bake some Irish soda bread too.

  4. Your mugs are wonderful, Ruth! I love the Belleek pieces! They are lovely.
I will be making Potato Soup and Soda Bread for Hubby this weekend instead of the usual Corned Beef and Cabbage. I wanted to make something different this year.
Thanks for joining me today and have a wonderful day.

    Blessings,
    Sandi
