Royal Wedding Wednesday - Kate and Will Request Charitable Donation instead of wedding gifts

The Prince Of Wales website has just announced that Prince William and Kate Middleton in gratitude for the best wishes received by them for their upcoming wedding, have launched a charitable giving website and are encouraging donations rather than wedding gifts.

I think that's pretty cool! On my other blog, Time Was Antiques family blog, I have been chronicling the wedding gifts received by Prince William's parents Prince Charles and Princess Diana. There were nearly 1,000 on exhibit in London several months after the wedding when we visited the exhibition at St. James Palace.

To read the press release by the Prince of Wales or use the link for a charitable giving wedding gift, here is the link:

  1. I was wrong! I have been to your blog before! I'm looking at my QE Jubilee mug I ordered from you right now! Wow, where is my memory?
Having fun skipping around your blog though!
