Christmas Tea Cozy and Jane Austen's Birthday Celebrating Coming up!

Christmas is a great excuse to throw a tea party...a Christmas tea party! We have a Christmas patterned tea cozy (or tea cosy or teacosie if preferred) at Antiques And Teacups  with gold metallic highlights that is so cute and fits a 4-6 cup teapot, handmade here in the USA. For more photos and info, visit:
Christmas Tea Cozy.

I wanted to let you know that there is a blog party/celebration coming up of Jane Austen's birthday on Dec. 16th. The website Jane Austen Today blog by an Austen scholar has organized a party with info and prize drawings on that day. Visit Jane Austen Today and look for this image to click on the 16th:

I hope you are enjoying your approach to Christmas.
We watched our favorite version of Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol , the 1970s musical version Scrooge , and loved it all over again. I always cry at certain points...can't help it! Today I have Thank You Very Much running through my head as usual. LOVE it! It was on TCM, but we have the VCR as well.

Came across this quote from Charles Dickens I thought I would share with you:

The the circle of our Christmas
associations and the lesson that they
bring expands! Let us welcome every one of them
and summon them to take
their place by the Christmas hearth.
