Shelley Pansy Chintz Teacup, Violets are Blooming!

Hello and welcome to our blog post for Teacup Thursday with Miss Spenser and Vintage Thingie Thursday with coloradolady.

I am sharing this wonderful Shelley, China Pansy Chintz teacup and saucer in the old Cambridge shape with a pale yellow interior and gold trim. I think it is so sweet! The cup and saucer was made between 1940 and 1966 when the pottery closed. For more info on the teacup at Antiques And Teacups, click on the photos.

My pansies aren't out yet, but I do have:

Violets!  Finally, all under the pine tree in the front yard by the path, the carpet of little heart shaped leaves has bloomed. So...for me...spring is officially here!

Have a great day and don't forget joining Pink Saturday on Saturday with How Sweet The Sound

and Sandi's Tea on The Titanic at Rose Chintz Cottage on Sunday.

  7. Your Shelley pansy teacup is beautiful! It's a Shelley pattern I've not seen before. We're both thinking pansies, as I blogged about them today too.
