Valentine's Day Tea, Tuesday Cuppa Tea Anniversary Drawing Jubilee Mug

Oh my goodness...so much going on...and need to be finished in time for Downton Abbey!

This is my Tuesday Cuppa Tea Post. It's a bit early, but I am joining Sandi  for her Valentine's Day Tea on Monday.

Here is my teacup for Tuesday Cuppa Tea. I sold all the Valentine and heart motif cups and saucers I had in the shop...including the one in last Tuesday's post just a few hours later to a blog follower! Whew! So ia ma sharing a Shelley China pink teacup in the Rose and Red Daisy pattern and the Ludlow shape from the 1950s.

I just love the shape, and the dainty elegance of the design in Shelley's typical delicate bone china.

And to have with it for Valentine's Day...treats from Harrod's Department store in the Knightsbridge section of London. I LOVE their food hall! You can spend the afternoon there grazing and gawking and tasting!

Harrod's has their own brand of Valentine Tea, black tea with sugar hearts and strawberry pieces in a signature tin
 A Valentine's Gift Hamper with:
Pantry
  • Custom Cookie Co. Heart Cookie Card
  • Confectionery
  • Milk Chocolate Heart Lolly
  • White Chocolate Heart Lolly
  • Gnaw The Love Bar, 115g
  • Candyhouse Love Hearts Jar, 220g
  • Rita Farhi Marshmallow Hearts, 220g
  • Details
  • Presented in a Harrods seagrass basket with leather-style lid

Valentine's Valentine Breakfast Tea, black tea with sugar hearts, strawberry and raspberry bits in a decorative tin

A pound of signature Belgian chocolates in milk, dark, chews and soft centers...also available in heart shaped box

Valentine's signature red leather jewelry box with champagne, and chocolates.

And all of these goodies? Between $20 and $100....without shipping! Such a deal!!!

Okay...maybe it's too late for this year, but there's always next year!

And now.....Taa Daa!  I would like to introduce my giveaway! The 16th is our 38th wedding anniversary. So I thought to celebrate, I would do my very first blog giveaway...and I hope I do this right!

I will be giving away a brand new, English bone china mug made for Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee which began on February 6th.  Here is the photo without the drawing for the mug and other goodies drawing info:

I am so thrilled to find someone who truly appreciates tea, china and Downton
Abbey. After raising boys, I am excited to
try and instill in my granddaughter some of
the beauty and history as well as the wonder of a "tea" with the china and the delicate table linens.
Thank you for your wonderful site.

  27. That teacup is so pretty - I love the Ludlow shape. I've always wanted to see Harrod's. A friend brought me their catalog many years ago.
I'd love to win the Diamond Jubilee mug. It's funny that even though I spent most of my life in Canada, I don't have any china featuring Queen Elizabeth.

    Thanks for the giveaway.
